Having completed an eventful 28th year at Claris’s it is time for us to start making some necessary changes.

We have decide to move some shop stock into the Tearoom area leaving Moorcroft Pottery, Elliot Hall Enamels, Richard Golding Glass and Knitting Yarn in the shop.

What was the tearoom will be used to display Steiff, Szeiler, Harrmony Kingdom, Caithness Glass, Rye pottery, books etc.

Brian says that after making around half a million scones, thousands of meringues and countless cakes it is time to hang up the oven gloves.

It is sadly the end of an era having been a tearoom for over forty years but life and circumstances change.

We thank you all for your custom and hope that out tearoom-only friends will pop in occasionally to say hello and you will continue to support our shop.

The changes will start after our usual January break.
